Debra brings extensive human resource management experience with start-ups, large corporate settings and the public sector. Her executive recruiting experience spans positions in corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, sales and marketing, and human resources.Throughout her career, Debra has worked closely with senior management to resolve sensitivehuman resource issues and recruit for difficult-to-fill management positions.
Debra was recruited to Southeast Florida to establish and lead the human resources function for Grand Expeditions, Inc., a venture backed, start-up luxury travel business.Here she worked with newly acquired, geographically diverse companies to introduce uniform human resources policies and programs. Prior to this, Debra served as Director of Corporate Human Resources for Harcourt General, Inc. and The Neiman Marcus Group providing HR support to senior management, overseeing recruitment,employee relations, and training and development. She helped institute an executive development program for company executives across all business units, and also served as corporate Equal Employment Opportunity and Ethics Officer.
Earlier, she was a Vice President And Manager Of Employment And Employee Relations at Recoll Management Corporation, a Fleet Financial Group subsidiary managing recruitment and retention programs, and before that, head of human resources for Massachusetts Port Authority, operators of Logan International Airport.
Debra spent the early part of her career as an executive recruiter for clients in the public and private sectors.She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s from Simmons College. Debra is a professional member and serves on the executive board of the Boca Raton Museum of Art – Artists’ Guild.
