Search Roadmap We meet with key members of the client team to develop a thorough understanding of the company’s mission, values and strategic objectives; the requirements and expectations of the position; and key market trends and competitive influences that could impact search progress.
We prepare a detailed Position Profile that serves as the basis for discussions with relevant candidates and sources. Candidate Identification We create a tiered Research Strategy focusing on companies and industries where well-qualified candidates are likely to be found. We perform primary and secondary research into all targeted companies, access our proprietary database, and leverage our vast network of industry contacts to identify all relevant, prospective candidates – quickly!
Candidate Development and Evaluation Following the candidate identification process, we call all relevant individuals to present the opportunity and to assess each prospect’s qualifications and interest level. Preliminary telephone screens are followed by in-depth face-to-face interviews with the most qualified prospects.
At this time, we obtain a more comprehensive understanding of each candidate's relative strengths, accomplishments, limitations, motivation and overall fit for the position.We represent the client and the opportunity in the most compelling manner in order to produce a high-caliber slate of candidates in the shortest time. Written status reports monitoring the progress of the search prepare the client for weekly scheduled status calls. We submit in-depth profiles and evaluations on all candidates recommended as finalists. Candidate Closure & References We conduct in-depth confidential references on all candidates under consideration. Following the reference audit process, we work together with the client to develop a competitive compensation package and identify “hot buttons” or potential problems. As intermediaries in the final offer negotiations, we can facilitate this sensitive process by presenting and negotiating the offer with the candidate. After The Search We maintain contact with the client and the newly hired executive to ensure a smooth transition.
